I need to write the bibliography for my english literature coursework and realized that I hadn’t credited where I’d gotten the quote “A man cannot become a tragic hero until he sees his own downfall”

I know Aristotle said it, but can anyone tell me the name of the book he originally said it in? Thank you!

Requirements from my teacher: must be known in the last 5 years in some sort of magazine or newspaper. Just a reminder: tragic hero is one who has an internal flaw but fails to realizes it so he/she starts to make numerous mistakes and then he/she finally realizes the mistakes and is “destroyed”. Some characteristics a tragic hero needs are: belief in freedom, supreme pride, capacity for suffering, transfiguration, etc.
This is for my school project. Please help, thanks.

what flaws makes ralph a tragic hero please give some examples from the book thanks!!!
im doing an essay question based on this and i HAVE read the book but i cant really find his flaws or faults, umm if you could give some examples from the book it would be helpful!

Would you describe Antigone and Creon as a tragic hero? Who is the most deserving of sympathy?

So, I’m having a hard time finding any resources that tell me, definitively, what qualifies a character as a tragic hero. I’ve seen the Wiki article, but I’m hoping that someone out there will be able to direct me to more sources.
I guess I asked the wrong question. I know what the characteristics are. What I really need are citable, legitimate sources telling me.
