Requirements from my teacher: must be known in the last 5 years in some sort of magazine or newspaper. Just a reminder: tragic hero is one who has an internal flaw but fails to realizes it so he/she starts to make numerous mistakes and then he/she finally realizes the mistakes and is “destroyed”. Some characteristics a tragic hero needs are: belief in freedom, supreme pride, capacity for suffering, transfiguration, etc.

In literary terms the “modern hero” has a chosen image of self and position and the tragedy results when the character’s environment denies the fulfillment of this self-concept.
In other words the modern hero sees himself as ideal but in reality others perceive him to be the opposite.
For example Kramer is a modern hero because he sees himself as a helpful and kind person, but in reality others see him as bothersome.
What is a particular episode of Seinfeld where it is mainly about Kramer and he exhibits traits of being a modern hero? I have to write 7 pages about this.
