He has had a phenomenal career recently winning gold in the 2008 Summer Olympics. He also won nine top tier international championships between 2002 and 2004. He doesn’t show any signs of slowing down either. There are other good Chinese players such as Chen Jin, Xie Xang Fang and Du Jing whom all medaled in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Lin Dan(mentioned above) also has the same record as Yang Yang but his is more recently( 2006 and 2007) China has won so many titles, gold medals, Sudirman cups and many more.
