How should I start my hero speech?

I need something that will capture the audiences attention.

It can’t be like ‘my dads my hero because..’ etc.

I have so farr
A Hero can be anyone who inspires you or helps you. You can know the person, or just hear about them.

then towards the end I’ll say:
My hero didn’t have superpowers, or save a life

then go into the reasons, how else should I do this?

you can start by giving the definition of a hero in the dictionary. Ex. When i looked up hero in the dictionary it said that it was a person with supernatural abilities, but i think that a hero can be anybody that inspires or helps you………..like my dad.

u should do something like” the person that made me the person i am is a special man,whopeople may thin is an ordinary man but that man is my father and is my hero….>>…….<<<< PEACE OUT

wow, i really like your ending,
but how about starting it off something like this,
In the dictionairy, the word hero is .
a being of godlike prowess and beneficence who often came to be honored as a divinity.
b. (in the Homeric period) a warrior-chieftain of special strength, courage, or ability.
c. (in later antiquity) an immortal being; demigod.
…But i think it is much more than that, a hero can be ”anyone who inspires you or helps you. You can know the person, or just hear about them.”
